As defined in our mission statement, funds collected from memberships in the Association will be used for membership drive mailing costs, event advertising, normal operating expenses related to communication with membership and web site hosting. This is to advise you that through today, the following expenditures and income have taken place since our formation on January 1, 2003:

 

SUMMARY OF EXPENSES AND INCOME

EXPENSE: ID CARDS, PATCH CREATION & DESIGN, NEWSLETTER PRINTING, POSTAGE, MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES, RECRUITING

TOTAL: $3,651.83

INCOME: 100 LIFE MEMBERSHIPS, 11 YEARLY CURRENT, 10 @ 2003 YEARLY THAT DID NOT RENEW, 45 PATCHES

TOTAL: $6,480

CASH ON HAND:

TOTAL: 2,828.17

This CASH ON HAND represents services which are spoken for but not yet consummated including future year web site expenses (2003 Web Expenses have been paid from current income) and certain mailing costs related to remaining issues of 2004 newsletters and future years as well as recruiting costs (mailing, printing of applications and complimentary newsletters, advertising, publicizing of reunions and other association-related events).
