THE
FIRST EVER USS TIDEWATER REUNION
was at
Charleston, SC Town & Country Inn and Conference Center
October 21-24, 2004
The 2004 reunion
is now over, but the memory lingers on. If you missed it, you missed
something special. We hope you'll make the next one in 2006. It
will be in St. Augustine, FL.

Spirit
of AD31's Reunion 2004
|
A couple of photos that
may amaze you, but for sure will tell you that Tidewater reunions
are meant to happen. We call this the Spirit of AD31's Reunion 2004.

|
Overview
|
This is what we did and
where we went.
|
|
Momentos
|
There were six 8-foot
long tables end to end with barely enough room to hold them all.
|
|
Friday
Night
|
The Association provided
an open bar with beer and wine and the hotel set out a terrific
buffet for us. What a spread.
|
|
Saturday
Tour
|
The tour took us around
Charleston where we saw the historical sites that we'd heard so
much about. It lasted about 5 hours with a tour guide showing us
the highlights along the way.

The photos above of the
Saturday Tour and Friday Night Buffet were taken by Bill Cook, our
webmaster. If you'd like to send us some more (as Terry Braga has
done), please do so and we'll post them here.

Who
was there
|
With a crew that spanned
the mid-Forties through the early Seventies, the possibilities were
endless!

Tell
us what we did wrong and what we did right
|
Here's an online feedback
form that we'd like you to fill out and send to us. We'd like to
know what you thought of the reunion, and, with your help, we hope
we can make the next one even better.

| Post
& Courier |
There was local coverage
in the Charleston Post & Courier thanks to the brilliant efforts
of Reunion Chairman Bob Hall.
