n late September 2003, the USS Tidewater AD31 Association held its first ever meeting at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. In attendance were 22 Tidewater Sailors and their guests. These AD31 Sailors comprise the Steering Committee whose purpose was to form the association, elect officers and serve on start up committees. The menu at the left will give you the details of what happened at the meeting and who attended.

A lot was accomplished and we are well on our way to having a first-ever USS Tidewater reunion in the Fall of 2004. Stay tuned here for additional news about the AD31 Association.
