ET "A" School - Radar Repeater Class
Ron Wyatt (R) and unidentified classmate

any of us had a Great Lakes experience in our early years in the Navy. First it was for boot camp. Then, if you were going to attend an "A" school, there were a quite a few of them at Great Lakes. This photo is of Ron Wyatt (right) and an unidentified classmate in Radar Class, a 4-week segment of ET "A" School, which was about 40 weeks long. Lots of intensive training in electronics and repairing the SPS 6 radar system. This photo was taken during the summer of 1962, just before Ron graduated and reported aboard the Tidewater in September.
